Nearly all global stock markets have been under downward pressure since the U.S. and Israel attacked Iran, driving oil prices up 35% almost overnight. Remarkably, however, Israel’s Tel Aviv stock exchange has been a striking exception. It is now up 16% for the year and has barely retrenched today. It has also generated a total return of 65% since 12/31/24.
